Playground Built In A Day

On Thursday, May 13, 2010 more than 100 teen and adult volunteers participated in building a playground. This extraordinary project took 8 hours to complete. Home Depot, West Palm Beach Housing Authority, KaBOOM!, and community volunteers joined together to build a state-of-the-art, playground all in one day.

A special thank you goes to:

Klif Gehring - President
Gehring Insurance

Their generous contribution helped to provide a new playground for the children in Robinson Village.

With a mission to provide those with limited financial resources access to safe, decent and affordable public housing and programs to assist in transition to greater financial security, the West Palm Beach Housing Authority owns and operates 712 units in five housing developments: Dunbar Village, Southridge, Pleasant City, Twin Lakes, Robinson Villa and Robinson Village.
